To be completely honest, this outfit was built around both my 30 for 30 limitations and my desire to wear lace for this month's Everybody, Everywhere (EBEW) challenge. I don't wear lace often, because I find it trickier to style than other prints, so I was happy to have this month's EBEW to give me a nudge to wear a lace item.

Shen Doll, you look smashing. You know how I feel about this setting but the yellow against it is especially eye-catching today.
Shen, is that the same Target skirt everyone else has? When I tried it on, it was inappropriately short. You really are pint sized. And I mean that in the more endearing and jealous way.
The skirt is a perfect length on you and the white with yellow is gorgeous.
Nice use of texture with the lace and white shirt, I like it a lot! I love the extra bits of bright in your cardigan and necklace!

Lace is really tricky to style. And it's hard to find items that aren't trashy and/or matronly. You look great though! I love the pop of color with the yellow.
